Dr David Allen started his career in mineral exploration geophysics with Geoterrex then completed a PhD at the National Centre For Groundwater Management, UTS, under Noel Merrick's supervision applying geophysics to connected waters investigation in the Murray Darling Basin. In 2006 he started Groundwater Imaging Pty Ltd to commercially exploit possibilities raised in the PhD and now conducts groundwater geophysics from Dubbo, NSW.
